Lunch Times

Your child’s welfare

At The Python Hill Academy we believe children should have a range of healthy options available to them. Our lunchtime staff pride themselves in offering the best quality food and are working very closely with our Academy Council to design a menu that is not only healthy but also delicious.

A message from the academy kitchen
All our menus are carefully planned and designed to provide pupils with a healthy balanced diet. Currently, we offer three options which means that the children can choose from a cooked main course or a jacket potato and a desert or a sandwich pack up. Our meals are prepared on the school premises daily, using locally sourced quality produce to ensure fresh and tasty food. We use a range of organic items on the menu which include potato, pasta, milk, yogurt and eggs.

We have engaged in a programme designed to reconnect people with where their food comes from, teaching them how it’s grown and cooked, the importance of well sourced ingredients and learning how to make healthy and tasty meals. Healthy eating habits should start at a young age and last a lifetime.

If our menus do not suit your child’s diet due to any food allergies or intolerances, religious or ethical beliefs please let us know so we can make alternative arrangements.

If you need any further information, please contact the academy office staff.
